Lead Teachers

• Plan both long and short range activities in accordance with curriculum objectives, developmentally appropriate practice and program philosophy.
• Meet the emotional, social, physical and cognitive needs of each child
• Encourage assistants to contribute to curriculum planning
• Complete bi-annual assessment of children's development
• Report progress of children to parents in bi-annual reports through parent-teacher conferences
• Maintain open communication with parents
• Maintain confidentiality
• Meet all applicable licensing regulations
• Minimum of 6 months exp.
• 45 hrs. of state mandated training
• CDA preferred or enrolled in classes

Teacher Assistants

• Assist Lead Teacher with both long and short range activities in accordance with curriculum objectives, developmentally appropriate practice and program philosophy.
• Provide input for bi-annual assessment of children's development
• Maintain confidentiality
• Meet all applicable licensing regulations
• Minimum of 3 months exp.
• 45 hrs. of state mandated training or enrolled in classes

Teacher Aides
